WELCOME BABY RAFAEL MAX

It has been a busy and wonderful time lately. After Matias 2nd birthday party we haven't stop. On that night we checked in at the hospital for my induction. I was just turning 37 weeks when I was ready to push our newest family member. If you followed me through this second pregnancy you might remembered we didn't know the gender.

Once baby was out, I immediately hold baby in my arms, and after 2 or 3 minutes, Gavin and I realized we still didn't know the gender. It was such an amazing moment, very happy, surrounded with Gavin and an amazing and positive staff. I couldn't have ask for a better delivery.
It been 2 months now since Rafael arrived, and everyone around here is super in love with him. Specially his big brother Matias, who has been all heart eyes since day one. It was amazing to see how much he understood we were having a baby. Once I gave birth, he never again kissed or pointed to my belly for baby. Matias is very protective of his brother, every morning he comes into our bedroom to give him his morning kisses, and loves helping around (when he's in the mood).
Rafael already has his passport, and we are all excited for our next holiday, our first holiday as a family of four, eek! We are heading to Japan for our first cherry blossom trip, and maybe a small spring skiing.
So this is our life at the moment, busy managing two little ones, one toddler that wants his way or the highway, and a newborn that is growing by the second. I am hoping it doesn't take 2 months to write again on my blog, but I am positive I will record our Japan trip.
xx
