DRESSING THE BUMP/PREGNANCY UPDATE

I have a confession to make: I am addicted to online shopping. I never realized how convenient, easy, and practical it is. Best part of it, when they call your door bell saying your package has arrived.  Finally we have good, reliable delivery in Malaysia, so I am taking advantage of it. For example, doing my grocery shopping on Sunday night all comfy on my bed. I recently found about the online shop ASOS. They deliver international and free of charge as well. But the best part is that they have gorgeous maternity clothing. Last pregnancy was quite hard to dress my bump, since I couldn't find many maternity options here. I made my first order a few days back, and tried to get lots of cute dresses and shirts, that are also nursing friendly. If you're expecting, this is a great online shopping option for dressing your sweet bump.

On another note, this is my 19th week of the pregnancy and I am finally showing a lot more.
Here's a little update so far of baby MJ2

How far long: I am 19 weeks pregnant.
Baby MJ2 size: About the size of a bell pepper.
Weight gained: Last Wednesday I had my checkup and I am weighing 54.8. I gained 1.8 kg in a month hehe.
Miss anything: On Friday we went out with friends to a relatively new french place called "French Feast". Food was delicious, and quite big portions for being french. But I definitely missed the freedom of choosing anything from their menu, which had a lot of options not pregnancy friendly.
Belly button: Semi out.
Best moment this week: Getting my pregnancy outfits of course, including a pregnancy swimsuit!
Sleep: My sleep is a combination of going to the loo once or twice, with Matias waking up in the middle of the night.
Symptoms: I am feeling great this past days, with the exception that my body definitely feels a little more heavy.
Food cravings: At the french restaurant we went, I ordered "Peche Melba". It consists of poached yellow peach, raspberry coulis, homemade vanilla ice-cream and chantilly. It was heaven in my mouth!! I am still thinking about it, and want to go back just to eat that. Here is a recipe if you want to try to make it at home.
Movements: Lots of small movements happening. Even Gavin got to feel some this past week.
Names/Gender: Still thinking on the names. For the gender, still a totally surprise for us, even though I almost made the doctor find out.

Looking forward: Feeling more movements, and sort of excited for Matias first day at his nursery but at the same time overwhelmed with sadness and mommy guilt.

I hope you liked the photos, all taken by my sweet husband.
Thanks to ASOS for a great online shopping experience, and for your outlet option.

Disclosure: I get commission for purchases or clicks made through links on this post. Happy clicking!

xx

  1. I liked how you described the whole thing in a understanding manner. This is true in every way that people should go for the gender selection natural process which is 99.99% accurate and have positive result.
