PREGNANCY UPDATE & MORE

Did I already mentioned that Malaysia has an insane amount of public holidays? If I did, well I will say it again. September we had five public holidays. The past three Fridays Gavin spent them at home with Matias and me. It really spoils us to never want to leave this country.

Did I already mentioned that Malaysia has an insane amount of public holidays? If I did, well I will say it again. September we had five public holidays. The past three Fridays Gavin spent them at home with Matias and me. It really spoils us to never want to leave this country.

So last Friday Gavin was able to be part of Matias' swimming class. I love that they get to bond with the simple things and to see how present of a dad Gavin is. Probably that's the reason why Matias still calls me Papa since he's obsessed with his real Papa.
Anyways, this weekend we enjoyed a visit to a place called "Farm in City" - the whole family went plus a little friend from our condo. It was definitely a good practice to have a glance of what a family of 4 looks like. EEK!

Here's a little update on this week's pregnancy:

How far long: I am 20 weeks pregnant. Wow half way there!
Baby MJ2 size: About the size of a banana. Funny coincidence, Matias just started to say the word banana hehe.
Miss anything: Not missing anything lately, but I have a feeling I will be missing holding Matias when my belly is extra big and won't be able to hold him so easily.
Best moment this week: So happy to see Matias going to school, learning how to feed himself, and getting so confident in himself.
Sleep: Going well, but some nights it has been hard to fall asleep either because restless legs, or just too many things on my head and not finding the peace to close my eyes and rest.
Symptoms: I am feeling great these past days, with the exception that my body definitely feels a little more heavy.
Food cravings: Not a lot of cravings, but craving to make a nice acai bowl, so definitely will make one before the weekend is over.
Movements: Baby MJ2's moves/kicks are getting stronger by the day. I can easily feel them now, and so can Gavin. Love this time when Gavin starts to feel the baby and getting more and more closer to him/her.
Names/Gender: We haven't had a talk about names this week. I did some newborn shopping and cost all colors that were baby neutral, but still super cute.
Looking forward: Next week Gavin and I are invited to Chile's independence day party at the Ritz, and I cannot wait to try all the chilean plates that I haven't had in a long time.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to all the families affected by natural disasters these past weeks. Also, praying for a prompt solution on the more than 400,000 Rohingya who fled their homes in Myanmar.

xx
