SPECIAL CUDDLES

Happy Friday! Today we had fun day with Gavin at home, since he got a holiday from his office. It is always nice to be a family during the weekdays, and do all together our regular stuff which Matias and I do on Fridays. We went out for sushi, and even had time to hit the park where Matias loves the swing.

Happy Friday! Today we had fun day with Gavin at home, since he got a holiday from his office. It is always nice to be a family during the weekdays, and do all together our regular stuff which Matias and I do on Fridays. We went out for sushi, and even had time to hit the park where Matias loves the swing.
I took my pregnancy clothes out of the storage, and wow it feels amazing to have nice clothes that fit my growing belly well. For some pieces, I love how affordable and nice H&M maternity line is. For my last pregnancy, I remember getting a few pieces that could be use in different outfits. Like their black leggings were a big time saver when I didn't want to wear pants, but wanted to be comfortable at the same time. If you are pregnant, check their maternity stuff. Lots of pretty dresses, even for date nights.
Friday was also extra special, because this is the last weekday we have with Matias in the morning. He will be starting school next Monday. I know he will have so much fun, meet new friends, and play with new/educational toys. But it is still sad to think he will be busy and happy and I won't be around to witness. At times it is really hard to cut the umbilical cord from my boy that is just 20 months old. I am so grateful we have the chance to enroll him in a great Montessori school, and that I will have a little alone time to prepare for baby MJ #2.
At nap time, after Matias finished his milk, he cuddle dup on my belly and had a straight hour nap on top of it. It was so special not only to have him on top of my belly, but to have the baby kick and feel both of my babies so near to me. I thought my heart was going to explode of happiness. This was definitely a "mom moment" that I will never forget. I will keep this memory fresh for those moments when  I feel  exhausted but still need to give my all to my babies. How I wish to freeze this moment for ever.
Wishing you all a great start of your weekend.
xx
