FIRST DAY OF NURSERY

What a special week it has been so far for Matias. On Monday he had his first Nursery school experience with me, and on Wednesday he turned 20 months old and stayed the whole morning at his school. I keep saying that he is growing so fast, but now seeing him getting more independent just hits me even harder. He will only be going 3 days a week, since in Gavin's and mine opinion he's too young for a whole week, and I also want to spend a few days of the week with him doing our regular activities.

On Monday I had the choice to stay with him throughout the whole morning. It was very nice to see him interact with the teachers, and his new classmates. He was totally the new kid, because other ones knew exactly where to leave their water bottles, while he was just learning through his observations.
On Wednesday I left him in the morning and came to pick him up earlier than the dismissal time. According to his teachers, he did great the entire day, and no tears. Yay!
It was definitely a bittersweet moment, that it was meant to happen either now or in a few years. It's so sad to see him grow, but at the same time I know he will learn, have fun, and use his potential for the best.
Papa and Mama love you Matiboy!

xx
