|AT OUR DINNER DATE WITH GAVIN'S AUNTIE AND UNCLE|
It feels like it has been forever since my last post. It has been a busy time around here after arriving back from our holiday. I finally finished arranging Baby MJ's closet and we even had time to stop at IKEA to get his crib. We are almost ready for his arrival, only missing diapers, tiny nail clip (which I'm scared of one day having to use to cut his tiny little nails), and of course my parents and the in-laws.
Today, Gavin and I went to the Baby's doctor. To the doctor's surprise, she told us Baby MJ is already in 9 months position. Meaning he's set in position to come out, but he still needs lots of more growing inside the womb. So doctor told me I need to rest at home, with my feet up high. And to stop all cooking, shopping, spinning, and let Gavin do all the cooking for us. We have our fingers crossed that Baby MJ will stay inside for a little longer.
How far long: 31 weeks = 217 days. With only 9 more weeks for D-day!
Baby MJ's size: Baby MJ is the size of a coconut. Definitely feeling the coconut inside of me, plus the arms and feet that hit and kick all day and night.
Weight gain: I gained one kilo this month, and Baby MJ weighs 1.67 kilos.
Miss anything: Missing our holiday and the beautiful landscapes we saw each day in New Zealand.
Belly button in or out: Almost showing an outie.
Best moment this week: Our first pre-natal class at the clinic was very helpful and eye-opening. Since I studied Early Childhood Education sometimes I feel like I knew most of the important stuff to know. But this time I learned a few more practical things that I didn't know. It was also great to be at a lecture room with Gavin learning about our future baby.
Another wonderful moment of this week, was that Gavin finally shaved his mustache. Movember is over, and I'm so proud of him reaching is goal, and collecting all that money for prostate cancer and other male cancers. So happy to have his face back to normal.
Sleep: Hmm not so well. Waking up everyday at five or six, and can't go back to sleep. Baby MJ is really getting bigger inside there, since I feel him kick my ribs quite often now.
Symptoms: Sore ribs.
Food cravings: Fresh fruits, and fruit juices.
Movements: Hiccups, kicks, you name it. Fortunately, I was able to do some movements of my own as well. Went to yoga, and spinning. My yoga instructor was so kind to have another instructor in the class who did the pregnancy alternative so I could follow along.
Names: Can't wait to share it!
