PREGNANCY UPDATE
IN QUEENSTOWN, NZ

HE REACHED IS MOVEMBER GOAL

Happy Wednesday! Is the middle of the week already, and we only have one day left in New Zealand. Actually, it is very sad to write it, because we have been enjoying this holiday very much. The weather keeps getting warmer and warmer, and there are always fun things to do outdoors.

On Tuesday morning, we left Te Anau early in the morning, and drove to our final destination for this long holiday, called Queenstown. We had some yummy tacos at a food truck, and later went up the hill to have a good panoramic view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Luckily for me, there was a gondola to take me up the hill, and down. Gavin, the sporty one, walked/ ran up the hill (took him 45 minutes) and then ran down the hill (just 15 minutes down).
Later, we went for dinner at a restaurant overlooking the lake. Sadly the day became cloudy and cold, and after walking a bit around town we headed back home before the rain started.

My pregnancy has gone wonderful throughout this holiday, fingers crossed it stays that way until D-day.

How far long: We are 30 days pregnant = 210 days. Only 10 more weeks to go until meeting Baby MJ.
Baby MJ's size: Baby MJ is the size of a cabbage.
Weight gain: Hmm tough question, since the food is extra delicious here, and have been eating either at picnics or at small cafes for two weeks. We will see how much I gained once we get back to KL.
Miss anything: Don't really miss anything right now. Maybe just my own bed at home.
Belly button in or out: Hmm I think is in between in and out. But still mostly in.
Best moment this week: We had a blast at Gavin's birthday. We enjoyed biking around the city in electric bikes, and then enjoyed some yummy dinner. I can't believe this will be the last birthday we spend the two of us, until next February, where we will have Baby MJ with us for my birthday.
Sleep: Sleeping has been a little more difficult here. I'm waking up at 5AM and then falling asleep around 7. Most days we wake up at 8:30 so I'm missing some nap time for sure.
Symptoms: Sometimes my back hurts a little but nothing to annoying. I had strong heartburn (I think it was heartburn) where it hurt just to talk or cough. Also, since it is spring in here, all of the sudden my right eye started to itch and the doctor told me it was allergies.
Food cravings: Everything with wheat, like bread, pizza, pasta. And also chai latte. They have it everywhere we go.
Movements: Super active baby boy.
Names: Secret, secret, secret.
Looking forward to: I'm loving this holiday, but it is always nice to get back home, to a home cooked meal, my regular gym schedule, and the long naps.

I can't believe we are almost leaving this beautiful country.

XO
