Last weekend before Christmas Day! The holiday is almost here. This year, Gavin and I set a limit on how much we can spend on each others gift, so we don't go overboard with spending. After all, Christmas is a time of giving, not a time to break the bank.
Supposedly, after this weekend, Gavin will be back on his normal work hours, and we can finally see each other at normal times. I am in awe for all the people who have night shifts. I wasn't the one working (poor Gavin) :( but I definitely missed Gavin at the nights.

On Friday, I was invited to a Christmas party from a mom of a former preschool student I used to teach here in KL. It was lovely to see some of my little students getting older, and catching up with some mommies. There was so much food for everyone, and at the end of the party, they gave me lots of take away bags since they assumed a pregnant lady needs to eat more than normal.

Saturday and Sunday I saw Gavin for a few hours a day, which left me with a lot of time to kill. So on Saturday I baked some sugar cookies, and on Sunday I made the icing. Hopefully on Monday we can decorate them with Gavin.

I hope you are all having a GREAT December, filled with joyful parties, delicious food, and merry times with the ones you love. Sending merry wishes to all of you my lovely readers!

XO
