RELAX WEEKEND AT HOME

AREPAS, BEANS, AND SHREDDED CHICKEN

LOVELY LIVE MUSIC AT DINNER ON SATURDAY

Another nice and warm weekend in KL is almost over. Since our doctor told us to take it easier on the walking and exercising I have been resting more than ever, and enjoying the delicious food that chef Gavin has been cooking this weekend.
But even though we planned on taking it easy, we still had lots of things happening this weekend. Friday was a late night partying with Gavin's futsbal friends. We delighted ourselves with Venezuelan food, such as arepas, hallacas (the venezuelan tamales), a belly dancing performance, and all night karaoke.
Saturday was filled with Baby's MJ room preparation, where I arranged his closet, his bassinet, and hung one painting in his room. Gavin was great at trashing and rearranging the entrance closet that used to be covered with boxes and more boxes. This apartment is almost ready to welcome our new baby boy. We also went for dinner with two colleagues of Gavin.
Sunday was relaxing, filled with bagels for brunch, a car that didn't start because of the battery, and shopping at our friend's house for a few last baby items we were missing.
Hope your weekend was (or is) great.
Here are some of my favorites finds of the week:

Interesting 5 things you should do to make sure your baby can be even smarter. Each thing can be easily done while pregnant.

I already have all the ingredients for this delicious sugar cookies. The only problem, I need more eaters around, since Gavin probably won't eat them all.

Have a great week ahead!
