After packing all of our stuff early Sunday morning, we hit the road again and left Dunedin, NZ for our next destination. For the next two days we will be staying in Te Anau, NZ, because it is the closest town to the two things we wanted to visit next: Milford Sound and the Glowworm Caves.

Since the trip from Dunedin to Te Anau isn't a long one, we decided to take our time and visit two places during the journey.

After half an hour of driving we got to the Tunnel Beach Walkway. It was an easy 15 minute walk downhill, along the country side of New Zealand. The view was spectacular. We went through a tunnel and got to the most secluded beach I have ever been to. There was even a seal resting on the beach. It was a nice and relaxing spot to be in the morning. What wasn't that nice and relaxing was going uphill. I had to do a lot of stops, but luckily Gavin helped me along the way. It was hard to get back to the car, but the view was totally worth the effort.

Later, we drove to Nugget Point Lighthouse, where after a small walk we got to the lighthouse, and spotted seals and dolphins in the ocean.

Around 4PM we were pretty hungry since we didn't have lunch, and the town where we stopped didn't have any restaurants open. We managed to buy some goodies at the local supermarket and had a lovely picnic at a park.

We got to Te Anau around 6PM and then had dinner at our place and had an early sleep.

Hope your week started great so far!
