FAVORITES OF THE WEEK

Happy Sunday everyone! Today I am extra happy because it is my goddaughter/niece's 4th birthday. She lives in South America, so I don't get to see her as often as I wish I could (like everyday). I still cannot believe she is 4 years old today, and soon she will be playing with her new cousin.
Gavin and I went to my Pilate's teacher's sons' birthday on Saturday and it was a jaw-dropping moment for us. The two main themes for the birthday were TMNJ and Lego and everything was decorated to match the themes. They even had a few different food stands, with everything labeled with the birthday boys' names, and a infinite amount of candies and sweets. Apart from a bouncy castle, they also had a photo booth stand, a make-your-own-mask stand, a piñata, and of course, a few crying kids. We had a great time, but it made us think about our own birthday parties while growing up, and realized how everything has changed. What happened to the good homemade cake and simple pass the parcel?

My favorites pics and online finds:

HE FOUND HIS HALLOWEEN CUSTOME

Since Halloween is less than a week away we will be carving our mini Japanese pumpkin pretty soon. Before any carving, this year I found this helpful article from Real Simple so our pumpkins can last longer than last year. Hope all your pumpkins turn out bootiful!

Finally this day came! Adele has a new song out called "Hello" and I am already obsessed with it. Cannot wait for the rest of her album out in November 20. Enjoy the video!

I have noticed my belly growing a little inch each day, and with that my appetite has also increased. I found this helpful blog with healthy snack ideas for pregnant ladies. I will definitely try them when the sweet craving calls.

Wishing you a lovely Sunday, and a great start on a new week!

XO
