FAVORITES OF THE WEEK

This week went by very quick for me, what about for you guys? This week was good overall, I went twice to pilates, Gavin was packed with work even in the weekend, and surprisingly my belly grew ever more. I can't believe it will double in size over the next 3 months we have left.
On Wednesday we had our monthly doctor's appointment and checked what Baby MJ was doing. He was at the moment in breech position, with his legs in "lotus position" as the yoga world would called it. I will give you more details in the next pregnancy update :)
I do not know what happened this week in my body, but suddenly I needed one or even two naps a day. One day, after Gavin had left for work I had to force myself to stay up and carry on with the day, but finally I gave up and went pack to bed. I am definitely taking all my vitamins, and eating lots of iron so I really don't know what's different than the previous weeks. Let's hope next week I get my energy back.
Over the weekend, we went back to teaching at a local refugee school, after a six week hiatus, and all the kiddos were shocked on how big my belly was this time. On Sunday morning, Gavin made little quiche for brunch and later made me chicken burritos. I feel so spoiled by him.

Here are some of my weekly favorite photos and some interesting links I found:

Gavin showed me this cute boy, and we just loved how amazing he dances. The funny part was when Gavin tried to dance like him. Gavin needs lots more practice...

I have been following this blog for a long time now, and these two girls have always impressed me with fun and creative ideas. This week I gave this recipe a try since I was feeling the fall season in me. Once I put the pan inside the oven, the house was filled with cinnamon essence and felt much like a fall day. The recipe is super easy and you only need a few ingredients. Give it a try!

And even though is not fall here in Malaysia, I wanted to have some fall decorations. We got pumpkins over the week and I made this leaves ornament.

After reading a bunch of useless books about pregnancy, I finally found a fun and very interesting approach to parenthood. The book is called "Bringing Up Bébé" by Pamela Druckerman. If you are an expecting parent give this book a look. Or if you have read it, let me know in a comment what you thought of it! Overall Gavin and I have been enjoying the book and have been joking about our future potential parenting styles.

Hope you had a great weekend!

XOXO
